Our Revit Specialist position is both challenging and rewarding. This is a demanding role that provides ample opportunities for learning and to develop a deep understanding of architecture, engineering, construction, and design technologies. The Revit Specialist position provides a very large opportunity for growth both personally and professionally.

The Revit Specialist will be working closely with senior team members throughout complete project lifecycles with heavy utilization of Revit. The Revit Specialist will be active with development of Revit models from project kick-off to final deliverables; play an active role in the production of construction documents; and participate in finding opportunities for innovation.

General Description:

Our high-traffic facility is seeking a Plant Operations / Training Manager with excellent time management skills and a proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious goals in the manufacturing industry. We’re looking for a candidate with considerable managerial experience who can recruit new talent, allocate both human and material resources efficiently, provide training to our employees and clients, communicate with HR and coordinate with other departments on all administrative matters as it relates to personnel and time-sensitive projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing / production facility from material procurement thru final inspection and release of finished product for packaging and shipping.

  • Communication and coordination with shipping and transportation

  • Receiving and process into inventory and out of inventory for all materials that come into facility for the operations of the plant.

  • Review all material coming into facility as it will apply to our Quality Control System Documentation (QSD), confirming all specifications and documentation logs and forms to track through complete lifecycle of projects. Conduct audits as required and maintain QSD revisions

  • Monitor / verify quality of product being produced along with calibration and PM procedures.

  • Responsible for all training of employees as it relates to the manufacturing plant items such as but not limited to:

  • Safety and OSHA compliance

  • O&M procedures as it relates to any tools or machinery

  • Material handling o Assembly

  • Packaging / Loading

  • On factory model home and sub-component assemblies o Shipping

  • Clients sub-contractors

  • Continued development of Synergy Steel University documentation and improvement

  • Review all invoices / statements from purchase orders for discrepancies before forwarding them to AP and AR departments

  • Maintain MSDS catalog for all products in the facility

Keep track of staffing requirements and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent as it pertains to training and manufacturing operations

Description of Position

Synergy Steel is seeking a qualified Construction Framing Manager who will be responsible for the oversight of all residential and commercial framing activity within their assigned project(s) (within the Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA areas), including the scheduling and supervision of all Company employed field assemblers and the inspection and acceptance of the work performed.

Essential Position Functions

  1. Organization of all framing activity, including preparation of weekly schedules.
  2. Manages and provides guidance to Team Leaders and Field Assemblers at assigned Project(s).
  3. Enforce scheduling and the quality of workmanship by reviewing job sites to ensure that each project is delivered to the client within the time specified and in an acceptable condition established by the Company.
  4. Maintains all necessary records for scheduling work, ordering materials directly from the Company’s panelization factory.
  5. Act as company’s representative in dealing with clients throughout framing period and responsible for servicing any necessary warranty related work.
  6. Orders, calculates, and schedules delivery of material and supplies as needed.
  7. Obtains governmental inspections as needed and represents company at such inspections.
  8. Responsible for ensuring that all Federal and State safety requirements are met and followed.
  9. Exemplifies a positive and can-do attitude at all times driving positive results
  10. Leads by example and recognizes employees for a job well done and demonstrates resourcefulness and willingness to help others
  11. Works directly with Operations Plant Manager on process improvements
  12. Ensures all project documentation / filing / follow-up is thorough, accurate and timely
  13. Develops understanding of project budget and seeks to identify opportunities to reduce project cost
  14. Demonstrates ability to understand and use shop panelization drawings
  15. Acts as a liaison with other sub-contractors.
  16. Assures that assigned project has an orderly appearance.
  17. Ensure that training is provided to comply with company guidelines for Team Leaders, Lead Field Assemblers and subcontractors.

Construction Line Assembler, Lancaster, South Carolina
Morning and Night Shifts Available!

Synergy Manufacturing is seeking assemblers to join our line assembly team. The assembly will be of framed cold formed light gauge steel panels (no welding) that are used in the construction of single family homes, townhomes, apartments and other commercial projects. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates with some prior experience in assembly or carpentry is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must be capable of reading shop drawings / blueprints. An assembly field worker reviews and follows instructions, diagrams and blueprints to complete his/her task.

General Description:

Our manufacturing company is seeking assemblers to join our assembly line team and/or also our field assembly team. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in assembly and be capable of reading shop drawings. Our Assembly line workers usually rotate jobs and learn more than one part of the assembly process, including material gathering, construction, quality control, value-added applications and shipping. An assembly line or field worker reviews and follows instructions, diagrams and blueprints to complete his/her task.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation
  • Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Double-check connections to ensure they match and immediately correct any discrepancies.
  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
  • Assists Machine Operator in keeping equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.
  • Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
  • When working in the field, understands accurate layout from reading blueprint drawings.

Qualification and Skills:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training
  • Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds from floor to 48 inches
  • Experience with power and hand tools
  • Basic math and communication skills required
