DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONS:

Synergy is seeking qualified Construction Framing Managers who will be responsible for the oversight of all residential and commercial framing activity within their assigned project(s) –  within the Charlotte, NC area; within the Atlanta, GA area; and as a travel position within the Southeastern US.  These positions will be responsible also for the scheduling and supervision of all Company employed field assemblers and the inspection and acceptance of the work performed.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  • Organization of all framing activity, including preparation of weekly schedules.
  • Manages and provides guidance to Team Leaders and Field Assemblers at assigned Project(s).
  • Enforce scheduling and the quality of workmanship by reviewing job sites to ensure that each project is delivered to the client within the time specified and in an acceptable condition established by the Company.
  • Maintains all necessary records for scheduling work, ordering materials directly from the Company’s panelization factory.
  • Act as company’s representative in dealing with clients throughout framing period and responsible for servicing any necessary warranty related work.
  • Orders, calculates, and schedules delivery of material and supplies as needed.
  • Obtains governmental inspections as needed and represents company at such inspections.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Federal and State safety requirements are met and followed.
  • Exemplifies a positive and can-do attitude at all times driving positive results
  • Leads by example and recognizes employees for a job well done and demonstrates resourcefulness and willingness to help others
  • Works directly with Operations Plant Manager on process improvements
  • Ensures all project documentation / filing / follow-up is thorough, accurate and timely
  • Develops understanding of project budget and seeks to identify opportunities to reduce project cost
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and use shop panelization drawings
  • Acts as a liaison with other sub-contractors.
  • Assures that assigned project has an orderly appearance.
  • Ensure that training is provided to comply with company guidelines for Team Leaders, Lead Field Assemblers and subcontractors.

  • At least three years of construction experience

Synergy is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our manufacturing facility located in Lancaster, South Carolina. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall supply chain management of the organization including but not limited to organizing and monitoring the incoming and outgoing supply and distribution of goods, the management of the entire order cycle, managing logistics, DOT compliance, fleet maintenance and management and the recruitment of personnel and third-party carriers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to current supply chain processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of supply chain management policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes including the implementation of new ERP System.
  • Establish and enforce proper supply chain management methods, policies, and principles.
  • Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Manage all aspects of DOT compliance for the Company.

  • Provides financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information; advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
  • Organize deliveries’ process, plan routes and track performance.
  • Work closely with Production Planner, Plant Manager, and Field Personnel on coordinating schedules, employee drivers, and third-party carriers.
  • Schedule all product distribution and coordinate shipments for all locations. Ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location and on time.
  • Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
  • Track and report shipment results.
  • Research ideal carriers, shipping techniques, and routing.
  • Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers. Evaluate opportunities for backhauling.
  • Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
  • Develop capital and operating budgets for logistics operations.
  • Track actual performance budgeted and develop processes to meet or exceed budget.
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
  • Be an excellent communicator within the organization to both senior management, field personnel and the hourly workforce.
  • Respond to lost items and damages.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with interstate traffic laws and regulations.
  • Develop and manage logistics KPIs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
  • Recruit drivers and maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Establish and maintain preventive maintenance program for company fleet.

SKILLS:

  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office skills, specifically advanced excel and analytical skills (data tables, formulas, pivot tables, macros) required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Synergy is seeking a Plant Supervisor for our manufacturing facility located in Lancaster, South Carolina. As Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible and assisting Senior Plant Supervisor for recruiting new talent, allocating both human and material resources efficiently, providing training to our employees, communicating with HR and coordinating with other departments on all administrative matters as it relates to personnel and time-sensitive projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing / production facility from material procurement through final inspection and release of finished product for packaging and shipping.
  • Receiving and processing into inventory and out of inventory for all materials that come into facility for the operations of the plant.
  • Review all material coming into facility as it will apply to our Quality Control System Documentation (QCSD), confirming all specifications and documentation logs and forms to track through complete lifecycle of projects.
    • Conduct audits as required and maintain QCSD revisions
  • Monitor / verify quality of product being produced along with calibration and PM procedures.
  • Responsible for all training of employees as it relates to the manufacturing plant items such as but not limited to:
    • Safety and OSHA compliance
    • O&M procedures as it relates to any tools or machinery
    • Material handling
    • Assembly
    • Packaging / Loading
    • Shipping
    • Continued development of Synergy Steel University documentation and improvement
  • Maintain MSDS catalog for all products in the facility

    • Roll Form Operators and leads
